Celebrate the end of Ramadan with your own upcycled moon lanterns
As well as ending with a bank holiday in the UK, this weekend also marked the Muslim festival of Eid-al-Fitr worldwide – a huge celebration at the end of fasting during Ramadan.
Eid officially begins with the sighting of the crescent moon, and as such, images of moons often feature prominently as part of the festivities, which can last for up to three days.
To mark the occasion, this week’s craft tutorial shows you how to make your own moon lanterns. Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating!
