Dance and Roma historian Rosa Cisneros leads our warm-up for Coventry Welcomes week
Rise and shine, Coventry! As part of this week’s Coventry Welcomes celebrations, the latest video in our #CityWarmUps series comes from Rosa Cisneros, a researcher at Coventry University’s Centre for Dance Research and member of the Roma Project.
Earlier this year, we partnered with the Roma Project to present Generations, an exhibition shining a light on families from Coventry’s Roma community. The exhibition will be displayed in full in our foyer after the building reopens to the public, but in the meantime, you can check out the online preview here.
Coinciding with Refugee Week, Coventry Welcomes festival is a celebration of the city’s diversity running from 15-20 June. Find out more about the exciting digital programme we have lined up for the week ahead here.
